Volunteer projects
Animal welfare genuinely matters to me: my home includes a dog, cats, fish, rabbits, and a horse — it is part of everyday life, not a distant cause. I am glad to give back to shelters, foster networks, and similar nonprofits when it is the right fit, with pro bono slices of my work — from websites to small tools that genuinely make your day easier.
This is genuine, but capacity is real: I decide based on need, feasibility, and whether I can truly move the outcome.
Where I can help most
Pain points where simple, robust digital work usually pays off quickly:
- Websites & donation pages that feel trustworthy and work beautifully on phones.
- Small web apps: rostering, simple booking flows, internal lists, lightweight volunteer areas.
- Finance prep: pragmatic workflows/exports so your accountant gets usable material.
- Enablement: short coaching so your team can maintain what we ship.
Who this is for
- Nonprofit shelters and animal-welfare orgs with a genuine charitable purpose.
- Volunteer-led initiatives without big IT budgets that still want a professional edge.
What I do not promise in this lane
- No unbounded “support everything forever” — we define scope together up front.
- No legal/tax advice; I build process & tooling, decisions stay with you/your accountant.
- No hidden upsell — if more paid work is needed later, we discuss it openly.
How we start (simple)
- 1 A short email: who you are, what you need, and any hard deadlines.
- 2 A 15–30 minute call to see if I can help, no pressure.
- 3 If it fits: a tight mini-plan, then delivery in clear steps.
